PSG beat Celtic 7-1 in group stage matches

PSG's last night victory was biggest win for them in champions league, as they beat Celtic 7-1 in their group stage matches. First goal of the game came from Celtic striker Dembele in the beginning of the game but the first half ended at score 4-1 in the favor of PSG side in which Neymar scored first two goals followed by Edinson Cavani before Kylian Mbappe struck before half-time. Marco Verratti, Cavani and Dani Alves to make it 7-1 to end the match. PSG have scored 24 goals in their five matches which is group stage record, with one game still in hand. Neymar Jr. the most expensive player in the world showed his worth since he have arrived in PSG. PSG is one of the biggest team in the race to win this season Champions League title.  

Ronaldo break yet another UEFA record...

Ronaldo broke yet another record in Champions League by scoring 2 goals in second half in his last match against Apoel Nicosia to take his tally to 18 goals in Champions League 2017 the most in a calendar year. Real are at their bad of this season but picked up their biggest away win in UEFA. Same as last season real will face group winner in last 16 as Tottenham won the group. Zinedine Zidane has won the champions League in his two seasons in charge at Real Madrid and La Liga last season but this time Real have fell 10 points behind Barcelona in La Liga this season. Real won 6-0 by Apoel in which Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice. Ronaldo has scored 18 in his last 10 appearances in UEFA and have scored 113 goals in total.

The battle between BVB v/s Spurs is tonight

The night of UEFA is here as Borussia Dortmund face Tottenham in their second leg of group H. Last time when both side faced each other English side beat German side by 3-1 Tottenham is on the top of group H with 10 points in hand in just 4 match’s follows the last year champions Real Madrid. Star player Aubameyang missed last game of Bundesliga defeat at Stuttgard as punishment for being late for training and shooting an unauthorized video at the club’s training ground.  While Tottenham left-back Danny Rose may start tonight.

                                              Spurs have qualifies while Dortmund are out of their own hands. Sunday last weekend it was first time the two-time I-League champions Bengaluru FC plays for the first time ever in Indian Super League (ISL) the first match of the season was against Mumbai City FC which was played at Bengaluru’s home stadium Sree Kanteerava stadium. The night turned out to be remembering for the fans of the JSW Steel-owned outfit as they strolled to a 2-0 victory over Mumbai FC.  The head coach of the winning side Albert Roca expressed his satisfaction at starting the tournament with a win. However, they were dominating the game but able to score only 2 goals.

                                                                        “I am just happy to win, believe me,” he asserted. “Big teams also fail to score sometimes. Real Madrid right now having problems to score. “They had good defenders. Yes, it is just a question of creating more chances and taking advantage of that. Today was good but we have to work on this. We have good strikers, but what we want is a balance between defence and attack. We did that well today and because of that we won.”

The match was one of the tempting matches of this season, atmosphere of the fans at the stadium was electric as all wanted to see Roca’s players in ISL, terming the relationship between the club and the fans was close. “It is very important for a club. It is great for a city to see that so many fans are coming today to support us. The first victory was important for them to come again. I think I am quite happy with the inclusion of one more foreigner to my team. I am happy with their performance. In the training sessions also, they proved that they are ready. Everyone one of them wants to play. We have a lot of games in hand as we also participate in AFC Cup. I would like to give them more minutes and build up a rhythm. I WANT SEVEN CHILDREN AND SEVEN BALLONS D'OR: CR7

Real Madrid star C.Ronaldo recently said he did not agree with recent criticism of his lack of scoring form this season, as he has done more than just scoring goals for his team. Onto which Ronaldo says he want to have seven children and want to win seven Ballons d’Or. Due to his recent criticism of one goal in seven La Liga matches of this season which is unexpected from his level of player. In an interview with L’Equipe, Ronaldo said he is staying calm after his slow start to the season, insisting he can give more than just goals to his team. “I’m happy and I feel good, you have to stay calm and keep working, because you can obviously do better,” said Ronaldo.

                                      “You look at me a goal machine, like a guy who has to score all the time. If that’s not the case, everybody does not care if I know I have well or not. “I am only judged on scoring, which is something not always the most important thing. “I accept the criticism, but I do not agree. That’s why I avoid reading or hearing what is said about me. “But, I have no choice but to accept it, I cannot control the world.”

                                                                                                   On other side Ronaldo is at his best in goal scoring start in Champions League, he has scored six goals in four group-stage matches. Real is on second place after losing 3-1 to Tottenham. To which he said “I’m not afraid to PSG, we’re the defending champions two years in a row, and we have to respect that. We would prefer to finish first in the group, but the important is first if all qualification.” Looking further ahead, he said “I want seven children and the same number of Ballon d’Or. That means that I do not intend to stop there. As long as I play, I will win all I can win.

CR7 rejected new contract deal with Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly rejected a new contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid and demanded a transfer towards the end of the season. The Portugal captain’s deal ends with the club in 2021. The football star who has had an off season so far, claims he does not feel appreciated at the club. However, the champion league and Spanish reigning championship have rejected his demand.                                                              Ronaldo has only scored one goal in the domestic league so far this season and 5 goals in UEFA. Real Madrid, who are sitting on the third position eight points behind leaders Barcelona, will face Atletico in a derby clash this Saturday. Real are trailing leaders and arch rivals Barcelona by a hefty eight points in the La Liga Table with 11 Games played and cannot afford to drop any more points. Their first ever visit to Atletico swanky stadium will be a historic one and they will hope that it is a memorable game for all the right reasons.
