PSG reached the French Cup quater-finals after beating Ligue 2 Sochaux. Star of the match was Angel di Maria who scored a hat-trick, last hat-trick Maria scored was back in 2010 from Benfica against Leixoes. Maria scored his first goal of the night with his header in a Mbappe cross in the first minute, they considered a goal back by Florian Martin who scored a half-volley to equalise the score. Edinson Cavani slid in for the second goal for PSG, Di Maria added a third from 12 yards and got his hat-trick by bundling in after Cavani's shot was parried. Kevin Trapp was sent off in the last minute of the game, Dani Alves going in goal for the final seconds for PSG.
