Real Madrid faced Leganes in the first lag of their Spanish Copa del Ray quarter-final last night. Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Marcelo were on rest for the match, with Benzema missing because of a hamstring injury. The hero of the match was Marco Asensio of Real Madrid scoring the last-minute winner to give Real Madrid the win at Leganes in the first leg of their CDR quarter-final. Other three first leg took palce on Wednesday in which Barcelona falling to a surprise 1-0 loss at Espanyol, it was their first loss of this season. In other two Atletico Madrid lost 2-1 to Sevilla, and Valencia hold advantage over Alaves by 2-1 lead. Real Madrid who have won Champions League and La Liga in 2016-17 are at fourth place in La Liga, 19 points behind leaders Barcelona.
